Recreation and Sports Essay Parenting, how hard could it be? Well, it is tricky and difficult. We wouldnt know because we havent experienced it yet, so we tend to underestimate it. We, as kids dont know the amount of time, and patience it takes to raise children. There are different methods and types when it comes to it. How kids turn out to be, depends on what kind of parenting they received while growing up. Today I will be talking about parenting, but mainly sensitive parenting, it is the key to successful parenting. Sensitive parenting, is one of the best methods to raise your child, children who receive sensitive parenting, develop secure attachments with their parents, which means the children will be close to their parents but on a healthy level. Also, kids who receive sensitive parenting develop insights into other peoples feelings, needs and thoughts. Those kids also have better self-control, attention, higher school achievements and confidence. Self-confidence is a very important treat in a individual. Confidence gives the kid a secure feeling, that they are capable of doing what they believe in, and achieving their goals. They will also, be cooperative with others. This is what sensitive parenting gives to children, it is the key to raising good, confident, secure kids. In order to apply good parenting methods, one should stick to a routine strategy. Kids thrive on predictability, so it is important to do the same thing on daily basis. This strategy will give you and your kid more free time. Kids are happier and less irritable on a schedule. For example, feed them and put them to bed at a specific time everyday. Also, have some time for fun, make this time just for relaxing, for the whole family. Education is one the most important things in our present life, to get your kid used to learning you must start teaching them some educational things at home. You can do this by creating entertaining methods of learning, therefore your kid will not get bored and will actually like it. Respect should be returned by both parent and child. In order for you to do so, you will need to share with them some of the decisions we take on daily basis. This will not only make them respect you and love you more but it will also give them a sense of responsibility. At last be your kids friend, dont just be a parent, but actually try getting closer to them and befriending them. This will let them grow up to be well rounded individuals, because of their parents. Not in spite of them. Finally, I advise people to be patient when it comes to raising kids, especially now days. As i have mentioned before try earning your kids respect, give them responsible sensitive parenting, and stick to routines because it will help a lot. The family teaches us about the importance of knowledge, education, hard works and effort. It teaches us about enjoying ourselves, having fun, keeping fit and healthy. - Kamisese Mara.

OPlaisime After World War II there was a strong anti-communist movement in America for decades prior to the 1950s. Nuclear weapons also sent a shot of distrust and fear between America and Russia. Information about nuclear weapons was very limited to the public. There are some facts, details, and reasons on why did this war happen, effects of the Cold War, and how society reacted to the War. It began in the 1945-1948 timeframe and ended in 1989, having been a dispute over the division of Europe. By another account, the Cold War began in 1917 with the Bolshevik Revolution, and ended in 1991 with the collapse of the Soviet Union, having been a conflict between Bolshevism and Democracy. The Cold war got its name because both sides were afraid of fighting each other in such a â€Å"hot war†, nuclear weapons might destroy everything. So, instead they fought each other indirectly. They played havoc with conflicts in different parts of the world. They used words as weapons. They threatened and denounced each other, or the two countries tried to make each other look foolish. There facts and reasons on why the Cold War happened. The Cold War had two sides. Those two sides were capitalism and communism. Capitalism is that business is owned by private people or firms. It was a free economy that allowed any profit he or she makes is reward for hard work. It also allows that any person should be free to start a business and employ people. Communism is another form of economy. Everything is run by the state and should be run by the government on behalf of the people. No private person is allowed to profit from the work from other citizens. Communism is a controlled economy. All profits don’t go into the pocket of one owner; the pr... ...pons. They both had a large supply of ballistic missiles. The NATO and Warsaw Pact were formed. This war inevitably led to destructive conflicts like the Vietnam War and Korean War. The Soviet Union had collapsed due to its economic weakness. The Berlin was destroyed and the two German nations were unified. The Baltic States and some former Soviet Republics had gained independence. America became the sole superpower of the world. Communism was no more. Communism collapsed worldwide. The Cold War sketched the foreign policies for both the countries through the second half of the twentieth century as both countries fought for accomplices to uphold and widen their own realms of power around the world, but it did not escalate to an apocalyptic World War II. The decade- long standoff between American capitalists and Soviet communists ceased without causing any violence.

Maintaining an Individual’s Confidentiality and Disclosing Concerns Essay

Describe the potential tension between maintaining an individual’s confidentiality and disclosing concerns. Even though parents, children and practitioners have the right to confidentiality there are some occasions where maintaining confidentiality is not possible and must be broken. If there are concerns over a child’s wellbeing, this must be reported or if you are aware of a criminal offence, you are again obliged to report it to the correct authorities. If confidentiality is broken it must be done in the appropriate way and according to the policies of the setting. It can be a very difficult situation to be in, being made aware of abuse or risk to a child can make it difficult for the staff member, but by reporting any concerns in the correct manner you reduce to risk of further harm or danger to the child but also maintain as much dignity for the child and or family involved. Sometimes in the setting, situations arise where, for example, one child has hurt another and the other children may have seen the incident and made their parents aware and they may want information from you or other staff members; this is a difficult situation because you can’t help children discussing things but you need to remember that you still need to maintain confidentiality and not discuss the matter with anyone besides this child involved parent or carer. Another further area that may cause tension is social networks such as Facebook or Twitter, there are now many problems caused by social networking because information can be passed around extremely quickly and without proper control or authority. It is important that any staff members who use these sites do not use their sites to divulge information or responded to any comments made via these networking sites. If they see any problems they should report it to the settings manager so they can speak to the party or pe rsons involved to stop further problems arising.

In todays world, many people value materialistic items to an unhealthy extent.
